FAO TO RELEASE LONG-TERM BUDGET OUTLOOK: 2020-2050

TORONTO, March 9, 2020 – On Wednesday, March 11, 2020, the Financial Accountability Office of Ontario (FAO) will release its Long-term Budget Outlook: 2020-2050.
There will be a background briefing for *accredited media at 12:00 p.m. in Committee Room 228 at the Legislature. *Accreditation is available through Gerald Christopher, Room 149, main floor of the Legislative Building [beside the Media Studio], by calling 416-325-7922, or via email at gchristopher@ola.org.
At the media technical briefing, senior officials from the Financial Accountability Office of Ontario (FAO) will provide a brief presentation and review of the report, and answer questions on a not-for-attribution basis.
Financial Accountability Officer, Peter Weltman, will be available for “on-the-record” media questions immediately following the background briefing in the Media Studio at 1:00 p.m. Live webcasting of the press conference will be available at 1:00 p.m. here.
The report will be posted on the FAO website www.fao-on.org/en/ at 1:00 p.m.
