Media Release: Peter Weltman to Address the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs

PETER WELTMAN TO ADDRESS THE STANDING COMMITTEE ON FINANCE AND ECONOMIC AFFAIRS

TORONTO, June 1, 2020 – Ontario’s Financial Accountability Officer Peter Weltman will address Ontario’s Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs today at 11:00 a.m., marking the first presentation of its kind since the Financial Accountability Office of Ontario (FAO) was established in 2015. Mr. Weltman’s presentation will examine the Province’s current fiscal position, economic outlook, and impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic.
