Media Advisory: FAO to release report assessing the state of repair of Ontario's infrastructure

FAO TO RELEASE REPORT ASSESSING THE STATE OF REPAIR OF ONTARIO’S INFRASTRUCTURE

TORONTO, November 25, 2020 – On Thursday, November 26, 2020, the Financial Accountability Office of Ontario (FAO), will release a report that reviews the infrastructure assets owned by the Province, assesses the state of repair of those assets, and estimates the cost to bring the Province’s assets into a state of good repair in 2020-21 and over the next ten years.

The report will be posted on the FAO website www.fao-on.org/en/ at 9:00 a.m.

The FAO will provide a background briefing for accredited media at 10:00 a.m. via web conference following the release of the report. Please contact Jessica Martin at 647.527.2385 or JMartin@fao-on.org for log-in and password information. 

At the media briefing, senior officials from the FAO will provide a brief presentation and answer questions on a not-for-attribution basis.
